National Account Manager - Foodservice / Out-of-Home

Better Placed are pleased to be working with a well-known food business who are looking for an established foodservice professional to join their successful sales team. This is a maternity cover contract, requiring someone to start work ASAP.
Main responsibilities:
- Developing and implementing a commercial Joint Business Plans (JBP's) with the customer
- Delivering profitable and sustainable sales growth
- Gaining new customers within foodservice
- Controlling budgets and forecasting
- Launching and driving NPD
- Executing all promotional plans for product portfolio
- Building strong relationships with customer and key stakeholders
- Maintaining daily contact with customer and attending regular face-to-face meetings
- Keeping up with key category trends and identifying new business opportunities
What we need from you:
- Minimum 3 years in national accounts within foodservice
- Experience managing a P&L
- Great communicator both written and verbal
- Strong numerical skills
- Commercially astute with strong negotiation and presentation skills
- Background in stimulating account growth and gaining new business
