Digital transformation is a great industry to be in right now. The pandemic has really shifted the priorities of most businesses to have the best digital and tech capabilities to give them the best chance of success. This digital transformation company have consulted with several SMEs this year to achieve just that and grown by over 50%.

As their first Marketing Manager, there is no better time to join. Having grown to a point where they would like to bring in a full-time marketing person, who has been in a solutions business previously, the bare bones are in place for you to make the role your own and grow a team and your career. With an external agency supporting the senior team, a new website has recently been launched, a sophisticated CRM system has recently been installed and the business has done a great job in growing through their networks and thought leadership. You won't need to get everything up and running, you can focus on what you do best, building a brand and growing the business with marketing activity.

In return, you'll be rewarded properly for your efforts. The business lives and breathes it's brand values and it all starts internally where you'll have true flexible working, 27 days holiday + 2 extra days for charitable/passion projects, Bonus, Perkbox and a variety of other benefits. The business actively encourages diversity of perspectives and opinions as one of their core values and overall, they have a great culture which means staff churn is very low.

Whilst the role is there to make it your own, the main goal for the Marketing Manager is to be the captain who takes charge of marketing. You'll lean on colleagues, customers and the tech for insight, understand value propositions, build the brand and deliver MQLs for the sales team. This could be through a variety of channels including email, social media, web, digital, webinars or wherever works best.

The absolute must-haves for this Marketing Manager role are a few years’ experience in marketing in a solutions business. This isn't necessarily digital transformation but you'll need a background in Software, Tech, Consulting, Professional B2B Services or similar.

This really is a tremendous opportunity for an ambitious person who wants to be in a senior marketing position in a few years and prepared to put in the effort to get there.
