Our client is a market and category leading home furnishings business with an impressive history of growth delivered through a commitment to innovation and investing in brands. Our client is looking to further accelerate their performance with the appointment of a best-in-class Head of Marketing.
Reporting to the Group Managing Director, the successful candidate will play a key role in the development and delivery of the marketing strategy for a major division within the group, ultimately driving the growth of a portfolio of market leading B2B2C brands over the next 3-5 years.
The key responsibilities will include but not be limited to the following:
Define and develop the brand proposition and identity including customer touchpoints for each brand
Leading the annual marketing strategy and driving the subsequent implementation plan with through digital, media, creative and PR, ensuring optimal campaign efficiency & ROI
Working with the Commercial team to create motivating promotions which balance the need for sales and margin delivery
Partner with Sales leaders to agree physical distribution of brands and activation of new product launches
Being accountable for, and evaluating the results of the marketing spend, including keeping control over campaign spend, production costs and delivering positive ROI
Managing and ensuring the ongoing development of the growing marketing team
The ideal candidate will have proven success in a commercial marketing role, ideally managing a brand portfolio, delivering brand strategy across customer segments and with broad channel experience.
