This role includes conducting in-depth research, market surveillance, and evaluating competitor and consumer behaviours. The clear presentation and communication of findings to the business facilitates informed decision making and strategy development.

What You'll Do:

  • Market & Competitor Analysis: Conduct market surveillance to monitor, analyse and gather insights on competitor activities, pricing strategies, product offerings, and market positioning.
  • Market Research: Conduct research to gather data on market trends, customer preferences, and competitive intelligence. Utilize a variety of sources, including market reports, industry publications, surveys, and online databases.
  • Consumer Research: Assist the Product & Business team in planning and analysing consumer research, including studies, surveys, focus groups, and interviews, to gather and interpret insights on consumer buying habits, preferences, and behaviours.
  • Sales Data Analysis: Analyse sales data to identify insight and opportunities, and challenges. Create sales reports, dashboards, and presentations that communicate insights to stakeholders.
  • Commercial modelling: Use historical data and market insights to develop revenue models to estimate future demand for products.
  • Data Analysis: Collect, clean, and analyse data to extract meaningful insights and trends. Translate complex data findings into actionable recommendations. Ensure data accuracy, consistency, and reliability.
  • Report Generation: Create comprehensive reports, presentations, and visualizations that communicate insights effectively and recommendations to stakeholders.

What you'll need:

  • Proven experience in marketing analytics, data analysis, or related roles.
  • Proficiency in data analysis tools such as Excel, Google Analytics, and data visualization tools.
  • Strong analytical mindset with the ability to derive actionable insights from complex datasets.
  • Excellent communication skills to convey complex findings to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Detail-oriented approach to ensure accuracy and reliability of data-driven insights.
