Better Placed is pleased to be working with a UK skincare brand and they are looking for an Assistant Brand Manager to join the European team!

Working closely with the European Brand Manager, Export Sales Team and their distributors, you will help to deploy the European business plan and strategy. You will use customer and consumer insights and market data to help steer innovation pipelines and customer centric plans. You will identify opportunities and develop initiatives to ensure the brand makes a big impact online as well as in store. You will assist in developing brand plans that will deliver growth and responsible for developing and managing a variety of critical brand building activities to increase brand awareness.

Responsibilities:

  • Evaluating customer and retailer opportunities for the brand, alongside the brand and sales teams, undertaking the following:
    • Retailer landscape and market assessment
    • Consumer insights and targeting
    • Pricing considerations, pack format and size
    • Market trends
    • Competitor analysis
    • Distribution
    • Developing launch plans and market plan recommendations
  • Assist and collaborate with the sales teams on initiatives and executions around new product launches, new listings, existing core brand lines and specific product retailer media initiatives to support annual joint business plans
  • Collaborate with sales team and brand lead to develop trade decks for each major retailer as needed
  • Assist with NPD and EPD opportunities across the EU
  • Assist with the planning and execution of activation plans that are aligned with the overall brand plan.

The Person:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent
  • Relevant 2-3 years marketing experience
  • Relevant experience of working within Health, Beauty or FMCG
  • Knowledge and hands on experience of social media, digital platforms and influencers
  • Customer retailer experience within grocery, mass and health & beauty channels
  • Proficient in using Microsoft office
  • Has experience working with website design
