If the favourite aspects of your career to date have been in client-facing work, whether that's in a Sales or Account Manager style position, this role is a great opportunity to be doing this kind of thing on a regular basis. You wont be responsible for landing new clients but you'll be picking up with clients as soon as they are on board and helping them make the most of the services provided. If you've come from a background of selling a solution, requiring lots of interaction with prospects or you have experience of regularly managing existing clients from an on-boarding stage, this is likely to be a great fit.

Despite the pandemic, the company has been largely unaffected and new accounts have continued to be won. As such, you'll be joining a business where you'll have stability which is a real plus in these strange times.

The sector sits within professional services and you'll be providing consultation in the form of on-boarding, regular (weekly, monthly or quarterly) updates, running training sessions and reporting on success. There is no specific industry experience required as this one is fairly unique. There is a large element of training and having coaching conversations around the services & solutions as ultimately, clients made an investment and would like to see a return. Your typical clients will be C-Suite/Director level and you'll need to be comfortable in having discussions with individuals at this level.

Culturally, the business makes things work for individuals. An example is that this Account Manager role will offer flexibility with working arrangements, which can be based from the office in West Yorkshire or from home the majority of the time. Collaboration is key internally and to add weight to that, they operate a team-wide bonus based on business objectives.

In short, this is a very client-facing, consultative Account Management style role with a business where people tend to stay for a long time.

The absolute must haves for this Account Manager role are:

  • Client-facing Sales, Business Development or Account Management experience (or similar).
  • Confidence and credibility when speaking with senior level stakeholders.
  • On-boarding/coaching/training experience (or similar) highly preferred.

If this Account Manager role sounds interesting and you feel you fit the profile above, please apply now. Based in Yorkshire, this role can offer significant remote work so locations can be flexible.
