The Role:

We are a forward-thinking company committed to delivering exceptional quality while prioritising ethical and sustainable sourcing practices. As an Account Manager, you will play a crucial role in representing our brand, expanding our customer base, and contributing to our foodservice strategy.

  • Build and nurture relationships with existing customers, from founders to operations managers.
  • Act as a dedicated ambassador for our brand, advocating for outstanding product quality and ethical sourcing in all interactions.
  • Exceed sales targets by demonstrating a deep understanding of numbers, including reporting, budgeting, and P&L modelling.
  • Collaborate with the National Account Manager to drive new business aligned with our foodservice strategy.
  • Provide valuable feedback to enhance our offerings and ensure competitiveness in the market.
  • Understand and negotiate margins to secure profitable business deals.
  • Work closely with the Training team to support key customers and facilitate smooth transitions for new business wins.
  • Network within the industry to explore new business opportunities.

You:

  • Previous experience in a Foodservice environment, with a preference for knowledge in our industry.
  • Proven track record in account management and key account growth.
  • Ability to negotiate with buyers at head office level and develop joint business plans.
  • Strong understanding of the sales process, negotiation techniques, and business acumen.
  • Proficiency in analysing sales data and making data-driven decisions.
  • Self-starter with a solutions-oriented mindset, adaptable to new challenges.
  • Passion for ethical and responsible sales practices, aligned with our commitment to sustainability.
