My client is based outside of London, but they only require you in the office once a week (MAX) - they are North of London so do consider this!
They are within the food and beverage business and are looking for a UX researcher - to work in their growing UX / digital and ecommere team. Your background therefore will ideally come from ecommerce so you will understand their offering.
As a UX researcher, you're responsible for planning, designing, and carrying out user research activities to ensure they're taking a customer-centric approach to product design. Your research will help inform the roadmap, end-to-end service design and the digital experiences they create.
The role is really varied and exciting and includes the following:
- You'll ensure they're using the suitable research methodologies and align the research activities to the problem the team is trying to solve
- You'll conduct research to gather customer insights and identify needs for both new and existing products
- You'll support the team in identifying and exploring potential solutions, including creating personas, journey maps, user flows, often collaborating with a UX Designer throughout
We're looking for an experienced (ideally 3 years) UX Researcher who has worked with leading eCommerce brands on complex design projects.
A good understanding of agile practices (e.g. Scrum, Kanban), the typical roles within an agile
team and some knowledge of the technologies used to build and operate digital experiences
