Supply Chain Planner

This is a great opportunity for an experienced supply chain planner to join a recognised brand with exceptional financial backing and gain valuable exposure across the end-to-end supply chain.
Role and Responsibilities include:
- Generate supply plans with manufacturers and sub assemblers to delivery stock to support demand forecasts
- Work closely with Operations & Supply Chain Manager to manage relationships with UK and International suppliers/ co-packers/ manufacturers to ensure optimal service levels
- Liaising with 3PLs to ensure delivery of orders into warehouses
- Partnering with internal sales, marketing, NPD and finance to execute and support the activity relating to supply and demand planning
- Work closely with internal teams to ensure smooth running of supply chain operations
- Ensuring documentation compliance for importing EU and non EU products
- Record keeping from suppliers (MSDS, COAs, PIFs etc)
- Raise POs and follow orders through from production to delivery
- Support logistics manager with planning stock transfers between global warehouses
- Project coordination of sub assembly builds
- Maintain product data specifications and for new and existing SKUs
- Delivery of weekly reports to update internal teams with production updates
- Support senior management team with ad-hoc reporting requests
Experience
- 1+ years of experience in a similar role, ideally within the Food/ Beverages/F MCG/ Retail industry
- Excellent communication skills and ability to build and maintain relationships
- Excellent Excel skills and ability to manage large data on spreadsheets
- Quality communication and collaboration skills
- A hands on, energetic personality and a desire to get stuck in
