The role:

  • Define and own the SEO strategy, working with local technology and local marketing teams to implement
  • Perform keyword research for all brands and key markets and define ranking approach and strategy for each brand
  • Audit the technical set-up of each of the brands and define a recommended approach to optimising technical SEO and on-site strategy
  • Work with the local brand marketing teams to ensure that their PR, content, and social strategies are maximising their potential from an SEO rankings perspective
  • Work with the Digital Product Team to ensure that the websites are optimising both for user experience and SEO ranking potential
  • Drive the use of technology, tools and data to streamline processes, efficiencies and drive decision-making in order to support ranking improvements.
  • Summarise, analyse and present results, using the findings to feed back into strategy formulation
  • Lead, manage and mentor the SEO team
  • Manage and work with external partners and agencies to maximising output and performance as required
  • Adopt a continual 'test and learn' approach to all SEO activities
  • Research competitor activity and reporting on findings, gap analysis, etc.

Previous experience:

  • 5 years experience in an SEO Strategy/Leadership role
  • SEO experience in an E-commerce business preferred
  • Travel experience would be ideal
  • Strong technical knowledge and understanding with a flair for all things digital
  • Experience in user experience and website optimisation, usability studies and A/B testing.
  • Excellent quantitative analysis skills, with an intuitive mind and great problem-solving skills

  • Experience of remote working and distributed teams
