Senior National Account Manager - Boots, Waitrose and Wholesalers

Better Placed are currently recruiting a SNAM role for a well-known baby food business in the Southeast. They are a family-owned business with over 50 years' experience in manufacture of baby food products. The UK business is now a major player in the baby food category.

Responsibilities

You will be responsible for developing and guiding the implementation of the customer specific business plan and achieving account profitability and sales targets.

  • Deliver cost increase as required to safeguard and build profitability
  • Conduct regular reviews of business performance, promotion targets and planograms
  • Partnering with Category Manager in promotional strategy and development
  • Ownership of individual P&L forecast, budget and track account revenues and cost
  • Develop account strategies in accordance with overall channel strategy
  • Develop account goals and business plan with the customer

We need from you

  • Degree or equivalent
  • A minimum of 5 years experience in a blue chip FMCG company
  • P&L responsibility
  • Sales and negotiation experience
  • Understanding of category analysis
  • Experience within Food or Baby - Not essential
