National Account Executive - Aldi - Large global business

A well-recognised food & drink company with high-quality, globally trusted products. This is a leading own-label company that operates within a number of categories. They have a reputation for sustainability and continuous NPD. To bolster the national accounts team and support the Sales Director, a permanent National Account Executive is needed to join the team.
The Position
This role is head-office based (Manchester) and will support the Sales Director on the management of their largest account, Aldi. You will be responsible for:
- Supporting the development and implementation of commercial Joint Business Plans (JBP's) with the customer
- Delivering profitable and sustainable sales growth
- Assisting with budgets and forecasting
- Launching and driving NPD
- Supporting promotional plans for product portfolio
To Be Successful
- Experience at National Account Executive level within FMCG, ideally across retail customers
- A good understanding of the FMCG marketplace, its key players and projected market dynamics
- Understanding of how an Account Manager / Buyer relationship functions
- Experience of building relationships at multiple levels internally & externally
- Strong capability in Excel and experience of supply chain forecasting & customer analytics
- Financial numeracy & broad business knowledge
- Bachelor Degree or Equivalent
- Commutable to Manchester (2-3 days a week)
