Better Placed are delighted to be partnered exclusively with Potter Space to recruit a Senior Marketing Consultant on a 3-4-month project. Potter Space origins herald from the logistics industry. Potter Logistics was an award-winning logistics company established in 1965. The company sold its logistics business in 2016 and Potter Space was launched 2018.
Potter Space is a small but ambitious family-owned property company with strong core values. Our purpose is to create a welcoming home for businesses to prosper. This is the central ambition that defines and drives the way we plan and execute our business.
The company owns five business parks throughout the UK comprising 1.6m sq ft of commercial properties including warehouse space, factories, offices, and small business units. The business parks are currently fully let which is testimony to the importance we place on building long term customer relations.
The Groups five-year business strategy is focussed on the expansion through development of surplus land at two key sites, Droitwich and Ripon, providing up to 400k sq ft of new warehouse space and a new HQ office. Other initiatives include the extension of our rail terminal at Knowsley as well as the long-term development of 200 acres at Ely and Selby business parks.
To reflect Potter Space's new direction, they're now seeking an experienced Senior Marketing Consultant to review the current marketing approach and make changes accordingly. This will be a 3-4-month project (working 2-3 days a week) to assess what they are doing and produce a marketing strategy to meet the business objectives.
As the Senior Marketing Consultant, the key areas that need your focus will be:
- Communication
- Marketing Strategy
- Raising the profile of the business.
During your assignment at Potter Space, you will be responsible for defining the marketing strategy, identifying the most appropriate messaging, and executing these strategies for the business. The Senior Marketing Consultant will study the company profile and operations to understand its marketing needs and conduct market research to identify industry trends and commercial opportunities. You will be skilled across social media marketing, online marketing, and direct response marketing.
To be considered for this opportunity, we are looking for a Marketing Consultant who is freelance and has a background in brand management. You will be an experienced marketing professional who has operated at a strategic level and can demonstrate in-depth knowledge of the latest marketing tools and trends. You will be a naturally energetic and enthusiastic marketer with good people skills; you will be somebody who can listen but who can also create impact and get the job done. Marketing needs to be a priority for Potter Space, so this is an incredibly important hire for the business.
