A well established, family owned Financial Services organisation who focus on equity release, pensions, wealth management and mortgages are currently seeking a Senior Customer Marketing Manager to join the team on a 12 month maternity cover contract.

This is a really exciting opportunity to join a growing area of the marketing team and work closely with the Executive Director of Marketing to drive forward the performance of the customer communications. The role will involve designing and implementing the marketing strategy across the key customer journeys, encompassing the full range of the organisations products.

The role is varied and includes managing multi-channel strategies and extensive below-the-line campaigns, liaising closely with the web and operational teams.

Key Duties:

As the Marketing 'owner' for all direct mail and email communications - encompassing welcome, cross-sell and retention customer journeys - you will be the communications lead for equity release, whilst directing and supporting other product categories (Pensions, Mortgage, Insurance etc.)

  • Demonstrate success in the creation, execution, and optimisation of direct mail and email marketing activity, delivering to demanding campaign objectives.
  • Identify campaign trends and insights, and plan spend and performance based on insight
  • Utilise strong analytical skills to evaluate end-to-end customer experience across multiple channels and customer touch points.
  • Communicate, educate, and update key stakeholders on strategies, plans, and results.

Key Requirements:

  • Ability to set marketing strategies, develop customer journeys and design, build and execute communication campaigns across direct mail and email
  • Strong analytical skills to measure and optimise marketing investment and campaign effectiveness
  • Ideally you would've worked within a regulated environment; preferably Financial Services.
  • You'll be a credible, commercially astute and customer centric marketer.
  • Ideally immediately available, if not on a 1-2 month notice period as the organisation are looking for someone to start before mid April 2023.
