Better Placed are pleased to be working with a leading pharmaceutical manufacturer and they are looking for a Senior Brand Manager to join their team!

The Role:

As the Senior Brand Manager, you will manage a portfolio of leading prescription bone health brands. You will manage all aspects of marketing for the portfolio with a focus on bottom line CAM growth. You will drive the strategic direction and growth by ensuring all key performance indicators are met through the implementation of the marketing business plan and NPD.

This is the perfect role for a Brand Manager stepping up or an experienced Senior Brand Manager looking to develop their skills by working on leading branded medicines within the NHS prescription Market.


  • Preparation and implementation of the marketing plan and brand strategy to deliver the agreed targets

  • Implement and drive the strategic approach on the bone health portfolio alongside other leading bone health brands

  • Managing all the elements of the marketing mix to maximise performance in the market: product proposition, distribution, pricing, promotion, events, product quality and format, packaging

  • Managing the NPD from initial identification to launch and working with cross functional teams

  • Manage monthly SKU level forecast and liaise with other departments to ensure stock availability across all the portfolios


  • Degree educated in relevant field - marketing, business, commerce or in life sciences

  • ABPI (The Association of the British Pharmaceutical Industry

  • 3 years+ experience with in brand management or at least 1 years+ experience in senior brand management

  • Strong commercial and strategic awareness

  • Leadership and project management skills

  • A firm understanding of multi-channel marketing campaigns including digital and social media

  • Experience of NHS structure and Rx medicines would be an advantage
