Location: Manchester - Hybrid (2 days in the office, 3 days remote)
Contract: 12 Months Fixed Term Contract

Are you an experienced Project Manager looking for an exciting opportunity to work with cross-functional teams in a fast-paced environment? Our client, a leading player in their industry, is looking for a Project Manager to join their Innovation Team and drive the successful delivery of EPD, NPD, and other key business projects.

This role is perfect for someone who thrives on managing multiple priorities, engaging stakeholders, and delivering results on time, in scope, and within budget.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Day-to-day management of assigned projects, utilising innovation and stage-gate processes.

  • Critical paths, RAID logs, and project tracking—escalating risks as needed.

  • Engaging stakeholders to align project and business objectives.

  • Preparing stage-gate decks and ensuring teams are equipped for successful launches.

  • Reviewing project outcomes and embedding lessons learned for continuous improvement.

  • Defining project mandates, scope, and success measures.

  • Resource planning, prioritisation, and process improvement alongside the PMO Lead.

  • Driving the adoption of effective project management techniques across the business.

  • Regular project updates, cost tracking, and alignment documentation.

  • Clear and concise communication to keep all parties informed and on track.

  • Neutral guidance and escalation support to ensure team alignment and progress.

 

You:

  • Familiarity with FMCG product development processes.

  • Clear and confident, able to manage updates and issues effectively.

  • Keeps track of critical information and ensures timely delivery.

  • Understands cost implications and focuses on delivering value.

  • Establishes trust and rapport with internal and external stakeholders.

  • Capable of managing workloads and priorities independently.

  • Strong proficiency with PowerPoint, Office 365, and MS Project.

  • Proven ability to challenge performance and motivate teams to achieve high results.

  • Demonstrable experience managing complex projects in dynamic environments.
