A well-known retailer that turns over £500 million per year is looking for a Product Owner to help increase the trading performance of both their website and app. This is a massive business that has been trading for over 50 years and is undergoing a massive digital transformation, so it's an exciting opportunity to build a modern digital product that will generate hundreds of millions of pounds in sales.
This opportunity is pretty much fully remote as they take a flexible approach to remote working, so you will only be required in the office 1-4 days a month.

As a Product owner, the key deliverables can be summarising in the following:
- Increase the trading performance of the website and app, using competitor analysis, industry best practice, internal and external data and by identifying barriers to conversion
- Work with the Web and App Product Manager, IT Delivery Team and your own team to manage the development backlog and CRO programme to continually improve and maximise web and app revenue
- Support the Digital Products team by ensuring development burndown includes technical SEO improvements to drive up organic traffic
- Manage your team to ensure a culture of high performance, quality and their full potential is realised
We are looking for an applicant with the following experience:
- 2+ years' experience as a Product Owner/ Manager with an eCommerce, retail or transactional digital product
- In-depth understanding of e- commerce solutions and strategies including merchandising, UX, CRO, promotions mechanisms and tactics
- Technical understanding of the digital product management and optimisation
- Excellent communication skills to collaborate with and influence other key departments, external agencies and colleagues
- A high level of consistency and logical thinking
