This business is an ambitious and growing SaaS company based in the centre of Manchester.

They've developed an exciting new technology platform, which uses game theory and predictive modelling. Having recently been acquired, they're investing heavily in their technology team and are looking to expand their technical capabilities by bringing on board a Product Owner.

With the developers currently managing all aspects of development, they now need to bring in a skilled Product Owner who can take ownership of the different disciplines within the tech team.

As a small team, they believe that every individual can make a tangible difference to everything they do; from their tech stack to their working practices.


The role

  • Collaborating with prospective users and clients to understand their needs and translate them into product requirements
  • Defining the vision for the team's product
  • Managing the product backlog and prioritising them based on requirements
  • Overseeing all stages of product creation including design and development
  • Liaising with the product team and end-users to deliver updates
  • Participating in Scrum meetings and product sprints


Requirements

  • A real passion for technology with a creative approach to problem solving.
  • Identification of potential challenges to get ahead of them before they become issues.
  • A team player with strong communication skills, able to work with a wider team to both collaborate and inform.
