If you're looking for a role to ignite your marketing or product management career, this position could be the one you've been looking for. How does the prospect a £100m+ turnover business with a large marketing and product team sound? A place for you to work on your all-round product and marketing skills in an industry that is recession and pandemic proof?

If you're nodding along, the business is in the B2B sector and they manufacture products to support key industries. It's the type of business where employees can happily close their laptops and head into the next room in their house knowing they're making a difference in the world.

What's great about this role, is that you'll be working on one of their flagship, high profile products. You'll be working alongside some talented colleagues in marketing and product management. From a marketing perspective, you'll create content across different channels including website listings, social media, email, offline and there will also be trade events in the future. On product management, you'll be analysing product perfomance, competitor activity, customer feedback and helping the wider team with suggestions on new product development. If changes to products are made or new products are launched, you'll be a key person in the team for making that happen and taking the propositions to market.

Longer-term progression has a few different options. This could take the form of product marketing management, NPD, category management or other similar specialisms. That's up to you and there's no rush. You'll have some great, broad commercial exposure where your strengths and preferences will develop.

The absolute must-haves for this role are:

  • Strong copywriting abilities.
  • Some experience in a marketing or product management role.
  • Creative flair (Photoshop/InDesign or similar experience would be really beneficial).
