One of the UK's most recognised FMCG businesses are experiencing an eCommerce boom and are looking to add a Principal Software Engineer to their Integration Development team. This role will suit somebody who feels comfortable leading engineers and taking ownership of technical projects.

This business prides itself on creating unrivalled customer journeys with detailed knowledge of its target demographics, their lives and how they like to buy. In order to keep pace with this increase in customer demand, and delivering to thousands of customers every day, they are looking to add to their team.


Key Responsibilities

  • Leading a team of engineers and mentoring other team members
  • Developing and maintaining technical product roadmaps
  • Assisting the Software Development Manager with strategic planning
  • Collaborating with Architects as part of the design process
  • Working alongside Business Analysts and Testers to refine User Stories and their Acceptance Criteria


Skills Required

  • Good understanding of product development and SOLID principles
  • Working knowledge of Design Patterns
  • Strong C# (other OO acceptable)
  • Strong SQL (alternate experience of document dBs acceptable)
