Better Placed are delighted to be working with a sports ecommerce retailer who are looking for a PR and Social Media Manager to join their close-knit and friendly team. The role has emerged from a strong year of sales with the business rapidly growing!
As the PR and Social Media Manager you will be developing the PR and Social Media strategy, focusing on engagement and growth. You will demonstrate your creative mindset by planning and writing press releases to social media platforms, whilst equally building relationships with bloggers, magazines and journalists. You will need team management and content management experience and you will need a strong understanding of media value with previous proven results.
Main Responsibilities:
- Develop communications strategies to support brands in the portfolio
- Manage and facilitate marketing campaigns
- Manage budgets for projects, for example, launch events
- Establish long-lasting relationships with journalists and brands
- Confidently pitch proven coverage results to national press channels
- Use Google Analytics to establish prevalent trends in the market and analyse revenue boosts
