We're delighted to be working with this B2B client who is recognised as a leader in their field with an extraordinary client base. They are essentially a manufacturer of products that are available via trade and retail stores. We're looking for an experienced PR & Content Manager - ideally with about 5 years experience.

Role:

· Direct the UK PR Agency to devise a PR, content and media buying strategy and annual calendar of activities that enhances and reinforces the brand position and supports business growth

· Evaluate PR Agency's performance and quality, manage delivery of KPIs and keep track of the monthly retainer

· Implement PR activities to ensure the company maintains a high profile across tier one media titles

· Facilitate the production of press releases, articles, blogs, whitepapers/thought leadership, case studies/testimonials to support brand campaigns and demand generation activities, curating content from subject-matter experts across the business

· Organise and host trade press factory tours, as and when required

· Develop an ambassadorial programme for this client

· Identify and review potential sponsorship opportunities

· Manage annual renewals and reporting, and regularly update content on this client online listings on third party industry platforms. Act as a key point of contact for all press relations activity, escalating internally as appropriate

· Explore other PR and influencer marketing opportunities with trade bodies, associations, and other third-party websites

· Manage and track PR and advertising budget and spend, and report monthly

· Organise and report on competitor press activity to ensure competitive advantage

· Maintain archiving system of all press activity to be used internally

· Work closely with the Senior Marketing Executive and 3rd party agency to align PR activities with the social media calendar and provide updates on industry pulse and trending topics

· Ad-hoc duties within skillset, as and when required

· Management and development of the Marketing Executive

Personal profile

· A graduate with a minimum of 5 years' experience in PR, preferably with B2B and B2C experience, technical or manufacturing knowledge highly desirable

· Proven experience of developing and delivering PR campaigns, initiatives, and projects

· Excellent writing skills with a good eye for creative

· Excellent communicator, networker, and an engaging facilitator

· Ability to plan and effectively present ideas and concepts to gain support within the business and from any appropriate third party

· Good project management skills, delivering projects on time and in budget

· Enthusiastic team player but also able to work on own initiative

· Ability to innovate and bring insight and new thinking to the team

· Computer literate and proficient in Word, PowerPoint, Excel, and Outlook
