This innovative software agency are looking for a PHP Developer to join their Leeds based team to bring and implement fresh ideas.
Reporting directly to the CTO, you will gain invaluable experience whilst developing your already solid backend skills.
Responsibilities
- Developing and maintaining functional and stable web applications to meet company needs.
- Working closely with the development team to ensure consistency and improve user experience.
- Writing, optimising and executing SQL queries to extract reports from large datasets.
- Engaging with all aspects of project planning.
- Establishing effective working relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
Skills/ Tech
- At least 2 years of commercial experience as a PHP developer
- Hands-on experience with object-oriented methodologies in PHP
- An ability to write, optimise and execute SQL queries.
- Some frontend experience (HTML5/CSS3/JQuery)
- Exposure to developing, maintaining and releasing custom PHP applications in live environments.
- General understanding of LAMP installations
