Remote (UK based only)
I'm looking for a Junior PHP Developer to work for a multi-million-dollar US business with a growing tech team, just outside Manchester. There are a number of key projects to get started with as part of a large-scale digital transformation piece.
As a Junior PHP Developer, you'll work as part of a small UK based development team (currently 6) and be ready to build on best practice to help create industry leading digital customer journeys across a number of core products. You'll be mentored by a Lead developer who has spent the last 12 months implementing the latest PHP ecosystem.
Summary of the role
This is a web development role with a backend focus that allows you to work across the entire brand portfolio and your work will help thousands of people a year travel globally. You'll join an innovative development team that is always looking for new ideas and solutions as they seek to create and maintain a first-class digital customer journey.
Skills and Experience
- 2+ years' experience in web development
- HTML/CSS/JS
- PHP, MSQL, MVC frameworks (Laravel)
- Experience working with external API integrations
- Knowledge of SEO
Desirable
- Experience working with Google Cloud
- Linux server maintenance
