Better Placed are pleased to be working with a UK favourite family-owned food production company and they are looking for a National Account Manager to join their team!

You will manage all aspects of their E-Commerce business, including full Amazon account management, full Ocado account management, the D2C platform and also working with grocery.com.

Responsibilities:

  • Create a customer plan to deliver growth, in line with UK commercial strategy. You will have opinions on what the 2-5-year plan with your customers might look like
  • Develops efficient account tools for their accounts (P&L's, JBP docs, EPOS trackers, selling decks, contact reports, etc)
  • Skilled negotiator executing CPI's and annual terms conversations
  • Invoicing up to date and spend accruals accurate for month end. Aged debt progress made and plan in place to recover

The Person:

  • Can use tools to use financial position and scenarios
  • Can demonstrate strong commercial judgement to maximise profitability and enhance margin
  • Works on financial models with pace to come to clear conclusions and are able to share these with stakeholders in a simple way for speedy interpretation
  • Clear on drivers of performance and can share insight via monthly account reviews
  • Can create a compelling JBP which is mutually beneficial
  • Is the expert in the customers strategy and competitors in that environment

Criteria:

  • Educated to degree level or equivalent
  • Experience in working with e-commerce - Amazon experience is essential
  • A minimum of 2 years working in a commercial role
  • Strong relationship building skills
  • Proven negotiation experience
  • Excellent communication and organisation skills
  • IT literate and highly numerate
  • Understanding of category analysis
