National Account Manager - Fast-Growing SME

I've just taken on a unique NAM role for a B-Corp premium coffee business. They have a specialty product, so I'm looking for someone with an interest in working for a brand that focuses on quality.

The role will have full responsibility for the Contract Catering channel, so experience working in this channel would be beneficial. Experience within the coffee industry would also be great but again not essential. The most important thing is someone with a strong commercial mindset, willing to work in a hands-on role to help drive forward a fast-growing business.

Main responsibilities:

  • Developing and implementing a commercial Joint Business Plans (JBP's) with the customers
  • Line management of a Key Account Executive
  • Delivering profitable and sustainable sales growth
  • Controlling budgets and forecasting
  • Executing all promotional plans for product portfolio
  • Liaising cross-functionally with NPD, Category and Marketing etc.
  • Building strong relationships with customer and key stakeholders
  • Maintaining daily contact with customer and attending regular face-to-face meetings
  • Keeping up with key category trends and identifying new business opportunities

What we need from you:

  • National account background within FMCG is a must, ideally within the Contract Catering channel
  • Experience in national accounts within a premium branded business
  • Great communicator both written and verbal
  • Strong numerical skills
  • Commercially astute with strong negotiation and presentation skills
  • Background in stimulating account growth
