The Role:

As the National Account Executive, you will play a pivotal role in driving the wholesale business forward. Based in the vibrant city of Manchester and surrounding areas, you will be responsible for managing key wholesale accounts, developing strategic partnerships and maximising profitability. This is a remote role that offers the flexibility to work autonomously while collaborating closely with the dynamic sales team.

  • Cultivate and nurture relationships with wholesale accounts, ensuring exceptional service and support.
  • Develop and execute strategic account plans to drive sales growth and achieve revenue targets.
  • Take ownership of the Profit & Loss (P&L) for assigned accounts, closely monitoring financial performance and identifying areas for improvement.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with internal teams including marketing, operations, and finance to ensure seamless execution of account strategies.
  • Analyse market trends, competitor activity and consumer insights to inform business decisions and drive competitive advantage.
  • Provide regular reporting and insights to the Sales Controller and senior management, highlighting performance metrics, financial analysis, and recommending actionable solutions.

You:

  • Previous experience in a similar role within FMCG.
  • Proven track record of managing accounts and driving revenue growth.
  • Strong commercial acumen with experience in P&L management and financial analysis.
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to build rapport and influence stakeholders at all levels.
  • Self-motivated and results-oriented, with the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment.
  • Based in or near Manchester with the flexibility to travel as required.
