A dynamic, but fast-growing Financial Services company that has achieved some great things over the past couple of years are currently looking to hire a Marketing Project Manager. This is a newly created position that will see you joining a talented but relatively small team with plans in place to hire 2-3 more people into the Marketing department over the next year. The main goal for the organisation is to accelerate the growth and quality of new customer inquiries whilst speeding up output on the marketing strategy so because of this, there's a gap within the team for a Marketing Project Manager to come on board.

Head offices in Derby, but this will be a fully-remote position with the occasional trip on a monthly basis for face-to-face meetings. So you will still need to be a commutable distance to the offices.

As the Marketing Project Manager. you will be responsible for increasing productivity and output of an already highly functioning marketing team, fulfilling a crucial role in delivery of ambitious targets, through various responsibilities, such as:

  • Managing resources and updating stakeholders & directors on requirements, supply and progress
  • Quantifying projects, managing workloads, timeframes, prioritising tasks and roadmapping.
  • Project management of internal teams and external agencies, ensuring delivery of objectives on time (or earlier!) and to the highest standard
  • Identifying and removing resource conflicts and bottlenecks, whether it be through recruitment, outsourcing or streamlining, and ensuring that adequate contingencies are in place to alleviate risks and over-dependencies
  • Improving communication between marketing and the rest of the business as well as with external resources, including running marketing meetings and stand-up calls
  • Producing high-level status and exception reports to ensure the management and board are accurately and reliably informed in order to make essential business decisions.

To be considered for this opportunity, you will be experienced in project management tools (Wrike, Trello etc.) and have strong management experience. I'm looking for somebody with a solid understanding of marketing and somebody who has successfully managed projects with both agencies & third parties. You will also have a proven track record of managing team workflows against OKRs in growing companies.

In return, not only is this opportunity 90% remote with some fantastic benefits on offer; you will be joining an organisation at the start of their journey with some exciting plans in place to grow, leading to lots of development opportunities. This is a place of zero egos and zero politics, just a team of talented and hard-working individuals who care about what they do.
