Better Placed are currently seeking a highly motivated and experienced Marketing Planning Manager to join a dynamic Financial Services business based in Leeds.

Hybrid working - 2 days in the office, 3 days working from home.

Free on-site parking provided.

As the Marketing Strategy and Planning Manager, you will be responsible for developing and executing marketing strategies and plans to drive business growth and enhance brand visibility.

In this role, you will work closely with the marketing team to identify target audiences, devise marketing campaigns, and analyse market trends. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure the successful implementation of marketing initiatives. A large focus will be in the creation of marketing plans to drive customer acquisition and increase customer engagement.

The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of the financial services industry and possess a proven track record of developing and executing successful marketing strategies. You should have strong analytical skills, be able to think strategically, and have a keen eye for detail. Excellent communication and leadership abilities are essential, as you will need to be comfortable influencing and challenging at a senior level.

Knowledge of marketing channels including paid media channels, PR, social, email, DM comms and B2B events/webinars required.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement comprehensive marketing strategies and plans aligned with business goals
  • Identify target audiences and develop targeted marketing campaigns to reach key segments
  • Conduct market research and analysis to identify market trends and opportunities
  • Creation of the customer retention plan and key processes.
  • Prepare and present reports on marketing performance and recommendations to senior management.
