I'm delighted to be working exclusively with a major North West retailer, supporting their exciting growth plans and developing their newly created marketing sub-team. They are undergoing a huge tactical transformation and need a Strategic Planner to join their customer focused direction of business.
You will be developing and continuously improving the customer marketing strategy, delivering clear and compelling strategic direction and recommendations that align to the business and customer growth ambitions. Through collaboration with the Data, Insight and Activation teams you will be providing actionable insights and key priorities to feed into the strategic direction of multiple, multichannel campaigns.
It's essential to build strong stakeholder relationships to ensure engagement and strategy alignment across the multiple delivery teams within the business. You will also be creating clear and concise briefs to ensure all teams are able to execute the strategy within their own departments.
Skills and experience required;
- Strong retail marketing background
- Verifiable experience managing strategic campaigns
- Demonstrable data insights experience, looking at data sets and providing actionable insights
- Agency or inhouse experience required
- Strong communication skills with all levels
- Excellent organisational and interpersonal skills
