Better Placed are delighted to be partnering with an entrepreneurial start up brand based in York. Due to aggressive growth ambitions they are currently recruiting for a number of roles within their marketing team one of which being this Marketing Manager vacancy.

This is a full mix marketing role encompassing various different areas of digital and traditional marketing. You will take overall responsibility for the delivery of a range of campaigns across the full marketing mix to drive user acquisition and increase the commercial KPIs. As the Marketing Manager you will need to be a fantastic relationship builder, building relationships across the business and with external partners to develop their proposition, drive revenue and recruit new customers.

Responsibilities :

  • Work with the PR agency to drive brand credibility and awareness
  • Develop and execute complex through the line campaigns to drive acquisition, revenue and retention
  • Work in partnership with the CRM partner to deliver high quality customer communication that drive loyalty and reduce churn
  • Day to day management and mentoring of the marketing team identifying and development opportunities to create a high performing team
  • Produce regular MI reports and presentations on performance and customer insight
  • Work with the different agency partners to identify new channels of user acquisition and other market opportunities

The person and experience required:

  • Educated to degree level or equivalent
  • Extensive campaign management experience with the ability to demonstrate commercial KPIs
  • Must have experience of targeted / segmented marketing campaigns
  • Through the line experience
  • Good understanding and demonstrable experience of managing brands internally and externally
  • Experience delivering integrated marketing campaigns from end to end
  • An understanding of Google Analytics
  • Experience working within a B2C organisation with demonstrable experience of driving marketing performance is essential
