We are working with a well-established manufacturer based in Sheffield, who are looking to add a Marketing Assistant to their growing Marketing team. The company is offering 25 days annual leave + bank holidays, private health care plan and a focus on helping you develop your Marketing career.
The perfect candidate for this role will have a degree in marketing or equivalent, with a placement year and maybe a years' experience in a current role - you need to have a passion for marketing, be an excellent communicator across all levels and incredibly organized. This role is great for someone looking to kick start their career.
The role:
- Scheduling all organic social media, email marketing campaigns, newsletters, and internal email communications.
- Supporting the wider team with ad hoc tasks and ongoing marketing requests.
- Organise and attend marketing events and trade shows when required.
- Assist in creating promotional materials, including brochures, blogs, and marketing copy.
- Provide fact-checking, copy-editing, and formatting assistance during the creation of mailers, coupons, website content, and other promotional materials.
The person:
- A degree in Marketing or equivalent, ideally with a placement year.
- Ability to optimise organic growth on social media accounts.
- Excellent people skills, adept at winning support from a wide range of people and collaborating closely when needed to achieve common goals.
