We are working with a B2B software company that has big plans regarding the products and services that will be provided to customers in the coming months and years. To ensure that the business is set up to successfully deliver upon these ambitious plans, we are looking to recruit a Marketing Analyst role into the business.

As Marketing Analyst you will help make effective decisions based on data from multiple sources, compiling it and triangulating it into a digestible and actionable format. In this highly visible role, you will use and create reports to analyse data, make sense of the results and be able to explain what it all means to key stakeholders. You'll own insight across all marketing and sales reporting and analysis, with particular focus on reporting channel and campaign metrics e.g. pipeline generated, MQLs, time between stages, conversion rates and existing customer account growth.

You will analyse large amounts of data, discover and solve complex business problems and build metrics and business cases around key performance of the business. By combining your findings with qualitative research you can develop an even deeper and holistic understanding of customer behaviour.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Observe and evaluate trends & translate findings into recommendations using effective business communication skills
  • Serve as a key resource in interpreting marketing channel and campaign performance. e.g. pipeline generated, MQLs, time between stages, conversion rates and existing customer account growth.
  • Generate MQL score card to assist the SDRs in their outreach and improve conversions
  • Owning view of full marketing and sales funnel to recommend on priority leads and make sure these are followed up
  • Simply communicate complex concepts with clear recommendations to leadership teams
  • Hands-on delivery of cross-channel media performance analysis, as well as business insights
  • Shape integrated marketing campaigns and sales outreach based on empirical evidence, and report on results
  • Support strategic objectives through market research, insight and analysis utilising a variety of methodologies
  • Identify and utilise appropriate data analysis and statistical tools and analyse data from a wide range of information sources, to inform strategic decisions
  • Develop and execute strategic market analysis; monitor industry and competitive trend
  • Undertake detailed analysis of internal and external data (both quantitative and qualitative) to evaluate performance, market trends and positioning and provide recommendations
  • Funnel Automation
  • Ensure MQLs are pushed through the sales funnel by having sight of MQls and SQLs by channel

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail
  • Strong organisational skills with the ability to multi-task
  • Proficient in the use of business applications software e.g. Excel, Word and other MS office applications
  • Experience with Salesforce CRM or other CRMs, and the ability to ensure that all information entered onto computer systems and paperwork is highly accurate
  • The ability to work towards your own targets in addition to contributing fully to the wider team workload when required
  • Excellent inter-personal and presentation skills Together with an outstanding telephone manner and communication & listening skills
