The Business
A tight-knit, family-run food & drink company in the North West. With a diverse product portfolio and strong relationships within the major supermarkets, convenience stores, high-street and wholesale channels; this admired organisation has a focus on long-term relationships with their customers.
The Position
Junior National Account Manager position. This role is head-office based (near Manchester) and will report to the Head of Retail. As Junior National Account Manager you can expect to support and manage the daily running of a large Convenience customers.
To Be Successful
- A good understanding of the FMCG marketplace, its key players and projected market dynamics
- Experience in field sales, ideally within retail/convenience
- Understanding of how an Account Manager / Buyer relationship functions
- Experience of building relationships at multiple levels internally & externally
- Strong capability in Excel and experience of forecasting & customer analytics
- Financial numeracy & broad business knowledge
- Bachelor Degree or Equivalent
