Better Placed are delighted to be joining up with a rapidly growing EdTech company who connect parents, teachers, pupils, and all stakeholders within the education environment in one easy-to-use platform and app. This innovative brand is hiring for a Head of Marketing with a proven leadership record of scaling a business, strong commercial awareness and the ability to think and operate strategically whilst steering marketing activities and driving customer-centricity. The successful candidate will report directly to the board and work remotely, with travel to the Loughborough office about twice a month.
Key responsibilities:
- Leading the development of all business branding and identity, collaborating with stakeholders to define the evolution of the business.
- Strategically support marketing time by facilitating activities, initiatives and opportunities that will help the success of the brand in future months.
- Work across marketing and sales teams to identify new lead acquisition channels as well as monitoring ROI objectives in line with KPIs.
- Lead the marketing strategy by working with sales teams on tactical campaign plans.
Essential skills:
- Dynamic, energetic attitude with proven marketing success in scaling business
- Results driven and the ability to strategically plan the marketing strategy to meet business targets
- Strong executive level verbal and written communication skills, especially in influencing and negotiation
- Experience with CRM management, Digital Marketing systems, MIS platforms and social media
