Our client is a much loved, high growth D2C lifestyle brand. They are a + £50m turnover business who are growing quickly by expanding their product ranges and launching into new international territories.
They are now looking for a Head of E-commerce to take ownership of their sales platforms and drive online customer experience. The successful candidate will collaborate with colleagues in digital and brand to build a best in class online experience.
This is a company who works at pace – no day is the same, and the successful candidate will be happy to roll up their sleeves when necessary.
The role:
Develop and deliver a comprehensive ecommerce strategy which integrates with the wider marketing strategy
Take ownership for the optimisation of customer journeys to maximise conversion rates, creating a cohesive user experience
Own and manage the ecommerce platform with a keen eye on conversion, functionality and UX.
Manage internal teams and 3rd party agencies to get the best out of the website and tech platforms
Analyse customer journey data and make recommendations based on insight
Own testing programmes across the website to increase conversion
Lead conversion projects with the support of 3rd party agencies
Manage, grow and develop the ecommerce team, creating a culture of high performance and continuous improvement
Report regularly on ecommerce metrics to senior management.

Proven experience in a senior ecommerce role in a fast paced and high growth environment
A strategic thinker who is happy in the detail when necessary
A data minded person who is able to translate complex information for relevant audiences
Enjoys a challenge – this is a quickly growing business where change happens daily!
