Digital Project Manager

£45,000

My client is a market leaders and pioneers of digital within their sector. With an ambitious growth strategy and a real focus on continuous improvement of service, they have continued to invest in building a market leading digital team. The business prides themselves on diversifying their product and service offering to stay ahead of the curve within their sector, adding increasing value to the customer experience.

An exciting opportunity has now arisen in their expanding marketing team for an ambitious and experienced Digital Project Manager for a 6 month Fixed Term Contract (FTC).

This person will work with the marketing, ecommerce and customer experience teams and 3rd party agencies to scope, manage and deliver various exciting digital (web, app) projects all focused on improving the digital communications strategy, the overall digital journey and implement any technical changes.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Manage the continued improvement of the digital customer journey, identifying opportunities for improvements to the digital touchpoints.
  • Build and support cases for approval of key development initiatives.
  • Develop project scopes and objectives, involving all relevant stakeholders and ensuring technical feasibility
  • Produce a digital communications best practice guide.
  • Highlighting to stakeholders the impact on quality, budget and deadlines of any changes to project brief

The ideal candidate will have the following skills and experiences:

  • Demonstrable experience in a Digital Project Manager role. Experience gained agency or client side.
  • Track record in developing and implementing digital projects, ideally in a customer focused context.
  • Degree qualified, Marketing or Business.
  • Experience with Content Management Systems.
  • Excellent communication skills and experience with dealing with 3rd party agencies and stakeholders.
  • Great organisational and planning skills.
