Better Placed are delighted to be working with an innovative design and manufacturing business based in Wakefield who are seeking a Digital Marketing Executive to join the team.

The Digital Marketing Executive will support the Marketing Communications Manager in implementing the overall marketing strategy.

Working as part of a small team, you will be responsible for aspects of marketing execution and delivery of projects in a timely manner, reporting any appropriate KPIs.

Essential Duties

  • Events and roadshows
  • Website maintenance using WordPress content management system
  • Maintenance of ecommerce product portfolio and pricing using Woocommerce platform
  • Social media development, including creating posts and monitoring performance across all media platforms for the Group
  • Developing and running webinar sessions and managing customer interaction
  • Managing promotional campaigns in both print and digital formats
  • Assisting in producing creative collateral
  • Maintenance and upkeep of photography library
  • Preparing internal company newsletters and communications

  • Self-motivated and able to manage multiple tasks simultaneously

  • Strong team player with experience of working collaboratively with colleagues across the business
  • Comfortable navigating uncertainty and managing resistance to change

Education & Experience (Knowledge & Skills)

2 years' demonstrable experience in a related discipline

Essential

  • Excellent communication skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications including Word, Excel and PowerPoint
  • Events and roadshows management experience
  • Bulk email campaign experience
  • Strong understanding of Google marketing platforms including analytics, search console, tag manager and data studio
  • CMS interfaces (preferably WordPress)
  • Copywriting experience with excellent spelling/grammar
  • Current clean driving licence
