Communications Manager (12-month maternity cover)
Location: East of England, Suffolk (hybrid)
We’re delighted to be working with a well-established organisation in the East of England who are looking for a Communications Manager to join their team on a 12-month maternity cover.
This role is all about ensuring people feel connected, informed and motivated. You’ll lead internal communications across a number of channels, supporting a culture where teams feel truly engaged with the business and its mission.
We’re looking for someone who can start within four weeks.
What you’ll be doing:
Developing and delivering effective internal communications strategies
Writing engaging and accessible content for emails, newsletters, intranet and senior leadership updates
Partnering with key stakeholders and senior leaders to shape communications that align with business priorities
Planning and delivering internal events and engagement activities
Measuring the impact of campaigns and continuously improving how messages are delivered
What we’re looking for:
Around five years of experience in internal or corporate communications
Strong writing skills and the ability to bring clarity to complex information
A confident communicator who can work across different functions and build strong relationships
Someone with a collaborative, proactive approach
Experience in a fast-paced or change-led organisation is ideal
