My client is looking for a Category Manager to join their team of 3 and help drive Category strategy, build client relationships and continue their success! This is a huge opportunity to join a high growth business and high achieving team!
What you'll be doing
· Ensuring the brands achieve targeted levels of distribution and visibility through brilliant category management
· Building long term partnerships that build category value for retailers and the company and deliver for the consumer
· Support the integration of Perfect store principles
· Build strong, productive relationships with key customer contacts and internal stakeholders
· Analyse and interpret data to recommend in store actions aimed at strengthening the category
· Identify relevant Category Growth Drivers, with quantifiable sales impact and show how instore/online tactics will deliver growth
· Execute category management and manage range reviews with focus customers
· Drive distribution, quantity and quality of shelf placement
· Remain unbiased and objective, but with commercial awareness and clear communication of decisions
· Ensure full compliance with legal, regulatory and other standards as directed
What we need from you:
- Degree educated
- At least 3 years of experience in a blue chip FMCG environment
- Experience in category management
· Strong understanding of category analysis and key category drivers
- Experience of Nielsen, Space Planning, IRI, Kantar, or similar
