Better Placed are pleased to be working with a well-regarded premium food business who are looking for a Business Development Manager and an Account Manager to join their sales team, managing relationships with new and existing customers across the EMEA region. You will be working within the B2B side of the business, selling ingredients into food manufacturers.

Main responsibilities:

  • Developing and implementing a commercial Joint Business Plans (JBP's) with the customer
  • Business Development to bring on new customers (BDM Role)
  • Growing and developing existing customers (AM Role)
  • Delivering profitable and sustainable sales growth
  • Controlling budgets and forecasting
  • Building strong relationships with customer and key stakeholders
  • Maintaining daily contact with customer and attending regular face-to-face meetings
  • Keeping up with key category trends and identifying new business opportunities

What we need from you:

  • Minimum 3 years in account management or business development
  • Experience selling ingredients B2B is a must
  • Ideally experience working across the EMEA region
  • Experience managing a P&L
  • Highly-motivated to drive your career and development further quickly
  • Commercially astute with strong negotiation and presentation skills
  • Background in stimulating account growth and gaining new business
