Business Account Manager - Tesco

Better Placed are currently recruiting a BAM role for a well-known food business in Yorkshire. This company has business units across a range of categories and they are looking for a passionate, ambitious individual to lead their Tesco business across their ambient portfolio.
Main responsibilities:
- Developing and implementing a commercial Joint Business Plans (JBP's) with the customer
- Business Development to bring on new customers
- Delivering profitable and sustainable sales growth
- Controlling budgets and forecasting
- Launching and driving NPD
- Executing all promotional plans for product portfolio
- Building strong relationships with customer and key stakeholders
- Maintaining daily contact with customer and attending regular face-to-face meetings
- Keeping up with key category trends and identifying new business opportunities
What we need from you:
- Minimum 3 years in national accounts within Grocery
- Experience strategically managing a P&L and implementing growth YOY
- Great communicator both written and verbal
- Strong numerical skills
- Understanding of convenience food market
- Ideally a mix of branded and own-label experience (not essential)
- Commercially astute with strong negotiation and presentation skills
- Background in stimulating account growth and gaining new business
