An organisation at the forefront of technology has recently set up a new Brand Management Division within their Marketing Department and are now seeking a Brand Manager to join the business. In this role, you will be responsible for developing and managing the execution of the marketing plan for the software portfolios and identifying opportunities for new market development, market growth, and share gain.

Key Duties:

  • To develop and execute the strategic and tactical marketing plan for relevant software products, solutions or services (the proposition) in line with the global strategic vision and mission.
  • Under the leadership of the Director, the incumbent is responsible for Portfolio Life Cycle management: new products, deletions, pricing guidelines, inventory levels, supply chain and onboarding potential 3rd party products.
  • Responsible for developing and executing new product launch and line extension plans including customer segmentation and targeting, development of value proposition, positioning and key messages.
  • Market expert; Understands / interprets customer needs, anticipates market changes, competitor activity and trends and adapts strategy accordingly.
  • Develops commercial proposition(s) covering all elements of the proposition value-chain.
  • Executes the UK product go to market strategy and secures the alignment, resources and support required to achieve agreed business targets.
  • Development of promotional tools, collaterals and training materials to support sales force activities.

Key Requirements:

  • Professional degree or equivalent in Life Sciences or Business.
  • >3 years of commercial or marketing experience - sales experience preferable.
  • Proven product marketing expertise within the B2B Tech/Software/Healthcare sectors.
  • Experience of marketing software solutions including SaaS
  • Experience developing strategic marketing plans that drive customer lifetime value.
  • Business development experience - identifying and developing new markets.
