Our client has long been established as a market leading consumer brand with an increasing portfolio of product categories and a very ambitious growth strategy.

They pride themselves on dominating their sector and delivering the best product and service to stay ahead of the game with growth firmly on their agenda.

They are continuing to increase their market share by expanding both product and service offering.

Thanks to continued growth they are now looking for a Brand Lead / Brand Controller to join the team to take ownership of the development and growth of their brand proposition.

The role:

  • Understanding the customer and the market

  • Creating frameworks from which divisional teams can trade - looking at customer journeys, pricing, design, people and brand proposition

  • Creation and delivery of comms strategy with the help of the wider team

  • Maximise the customer brand experience to ensure a competitive edge and commercial success

  • Be a brand steward and continue to develop overall brand proposition

  • Define and nurture the customer journey for the brand and think strategically about brand direction

  • Own brand visual identity and any over-arching brand campaigns including ATL and PR

  • Lead brand campaigns that deliver on ROI, volume and awareness

  • Manage cross functional stakeholders and ensure they are engaged and excited by the proposition

  • Take ownership of significant budgets

  • Drive forward the company values and culture transformation

  • Lead and motivate direct reports

  • Reporting on Brand Health to identify new areas for growth and improvement

  • Work with divisional teams to endure all comms adhere to brand guidelines

The person

  • Proven experience in a senior B2C brand marketing role

  • Able to manage and engage a high performing brand team

  • Able to manage and influence senior stakeholders

  • A commercial mind and able to work with data to inform business and marketing decisions

  • Able to work at pace in a competitive market

  • A team player who is comfortable with integrated working
