Better Placed are pleased to be working with a well-regarded food business who are looking for a Sales Manager to drive forward the growth of the B2B side of the business, selling their products into other FMCG companies / food manufacturers.

Main responsibilities:

  • Business Development to bring on new customers
  • Targeting brands and suggesting range additions
  • Growing and developing existing customers
  • Delivering profitable and sustainable sales growth
  • Controlling budgets and forecasting
  • Building strong relationships with customer and key stakeholders
  • Maintaining daily contact with customer and attending regular face-to-face meetings
  • Keeping up with key category trends and identifying new business opportunities

What we need from you:

  • Minimum 3 years in account management or business development
  • Experience selling B2B to FMCG companies would be preferred
  • Entrepreneurial mindset
  • Highly-motivated to drive your career and development further quickly
  • Self-starter who can identify and exploit business opportunities
  • Strong track record gaining new business
