We are currently seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Accounts Assistant to join our Finance Team. This is an excellent opportunity for an individual looking for a role finance within a thriving and supportive work environment. Our account’s function is the backbone of our business and is central to ensuring that we consistently deliver a best in class service both internally and externally with our clients and suppliers. Key responsibilities:

  • Maintaining Credit Control

  • Raising sales ledger invoices

  • Collection of outstanding invoices

  • Regular liaison with clients

  • Maintaining the purchase ledger

  • Coding and processing supplier invoices

  • Monthly bacs run

  • Managing the Interim/contractors onboarding processing

  • Weekly and monthly bank reconciliations

  • Monitor and reconcile company credit card purchases

  • Inputting expenses for payroll/payroll journals

  • Monthly intergroup invoicing

  • Monthly Intercompany reconciliations

  • Quarterly VAT return preparation and submission

  • Collating information from placement sheets for analysis

  • EDI information collation & reporting

  • Other ad-hoc finance duties to support the Finance Director

Skills and Qualifications:

  • At least 3 years of financial experience in an accounts environment

  • Sage 50 Accounts experience desirable

  • Good working knowledge of Excel

  • Excellent attention to detail

  • The ability to maintain clear and accurate financial records
