We are currently seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Accounts Assistant to join our Finance Team. This is an excellent opportunity for an individual looking for a role finance within a thriving and supportive work environment. Our account’s function is the backbone of our business and is central to ensuring that we consistently deliver a best in class service both internally and externally with our clients and suppliers. Key responsibilities:
Maintaining Credit Control
Raising sales ledger invoices
Collection of outstanding invoices
Regular liaison with clients
Maintaining the purchase ledger
Coding and processing supplier invoices
Monthly bacs run
Managing the Interim/contractors onboarding processing
Weekly and monthly bank reconciliations
Monitor and reconcile company credit card purchases
Inputting expenses for payroll/payroll journals
Monthly intergroup invoicing
Monthly Intercompany reconciliations
Quarterly VAT return preparation and submission
Collating information from placement sheets for analysis
EDI information collation & reporting
Other ad-hoc finance duties to support the Finance Director
Skills and Qualifications:
At least 3 years of financial experience in an accounts environment
Sage 50 Accounts experience desirable
Good working knowledge of Excel
Excellent attention to detail
The ability to maintain clear and accurate financial records
