It’s official – Better Placed are one of the best small companies to work for in the UK!

Having received the eagerly awaited news this morning, that we had made it into this years Sunday Times Top 100 Small Companies to work for, it was even more amazing to hear we had been awarded the highest 3* Accreditation for employee engagement.
As a business we have always held employee satisfaction in high regard, making sure they think it’s a fun and dynamic environment and one in which they can continue to progress their careers. Without them we have very little, so getting their official feedback and ultimately confirmation that we have created an enjoyable, rewarding and fantastic place to work has made this Sunday Times Top 100 journey even more satisfactory.

The Sunday Times Top 100 Companies to work for accreditation was established to recognise and reward excellence in the workplace and is based on a voluntary employee survey managed by Best Companies. Each year a selection of the best companies across the UK are ranked against eight key areas of employer performance:

Personal Development
Giving Something Back
My Company
Fair Deal
My Manager
My Team

The survey is regarded as one of the most robust in the market and a true test of employee satisfaction. The companies with the highest scores are accredited with between 1-3 stars or named as a “one to watch”. Better Placed’s 3 Star accreditation in its first year of entering the survey is an amazing achievement and a real accolade!

Our 3 Star Accreditation shows exceptional levels of employee engagement and the listing is evidence that we have one of the UK’s happiest and most motivated work forces.

It’s not rocket science to think happy employees enhances the client and candidate experience, so we are really proud to have gained a Top 100 ranking and want to thank all our Better Placed employees for not only taking part, but for making the company such an awesome place to work. We would also like to take this opportunity to thank our many clients and candidates that have helped us to achieve what we have over the last 16 years and make Better Placed what it is today!

So all there is to do now is to prepare for the night of the awards and await our official ranking. Wherever we end up coming, the experience so far has been a hugely positive one. Of course being the competitive bunch we are, we hope for as high a placing as possible, but regardless of where we ultimately come, we’re massively excited for what this will mean to our employees and the next stage of the Better Placed journey.
