Better Placed are recruiting a Marketing Manager position in East Yorkshire with a B2B company who have weathered the current storm really well. The product range would fall under the category of essential for a range of industries and there is a lot to be said for a stable business that continues to grow amidst the current climate. You can also feel great as what you are marketing is making a positive difference to the end users!
The Marketing Manager position is a key role in the commercial function. You’ll be working closely with sales teams to understand the customers, put plans in place for targeted campaigns and you’ll take responsibility for a range of lead generation marketing activity. This could include email, digital, social and offline so you’ll see some great exposure to the full marketing mix. Although management experience is not required, you’ll be working closely with a range of other business units and contributing to the wider strategy. You’ll either need to be ready to step up into a more strategic role to have that experience already.
Key routes to market are through local authorities and governing bodies so any experience in marketing to these sectors would be helpful but not necessary. The most important thing to have is B2B marketing experience and accountability for commercial growth or lead generation.

Based in the Goole area, this role is immutable from Hull, Hessle, Selby, York and surrounding areas and will be in the office c. 2-3 days per week, pandemic permitting!
