Fancy an E-Commerce Marketing Manager job in a completely new industry that is vital to ? One that’s genuinely a one of a kind business and in an SME where everything you do is making a big contribution to the overall company performance?
If you’re intrigued by this prospect, Better Placed are recruiting for a Leeds-based B2B & B2C business that has an opportunity for you. The majority of the business is on the B2B side and their products are sold all over the world, with the website generating a growing % of the leads and sales through E-Commerce.
Your role will be to own the online channel, looking after a P&L. You’ll own the user journey from initial search, online behaviour and ultimately, conversion. You’ll optimise both organic and paid search, run the online store and analyse performance to make continuous improvements in conversion.
If you are looking for big budgets, a big team and lots of support from agencies, this probably isn’t the role for you. It’s an SME who are not yet at the stage where all of this is possible. However, if you are willing to be hands-on, work hard and take a few calculated risks to grow the online channel, this could be a very rewarding position and the future is in your hands.
Ideally, you’ll have a background in E-Commerce and have a wider understanding of digital marketing principles including PPC, SEO and CRO. You’ll be reporting to the MD so you’ll be comfortable in taking accountability and seeing the bigger picture and how your role helps with all of that.
