If you’re an events expert and you’re open to new things, Better Placed are currently recruiting an events manager for a B2B business in Leeds who are making a real difference in their industry. They operate in the FinTech world and have been on a major expansion drive over the last 2 years, with events being a key component of the marketing strategy. The events that they run are a mix of large industry exhibitions with up to 500 delegates, smaller workshops, networking events and internal conferences, parties etc.
The business is forward-thinking, offering a culture that is grown-up, particularly around working hours/arrangements and a leading package for the Leeds region including a very competitive holiday allowance and wider benefits package.
The role has come about as a result of an internal promotion so you’re walking into a position that is well established and you can always go to that person for advice on different issues.
Ideally, you’ll have a background in running B2B events and you’ll need to have the ability to engage with senior stakeholders and sales teams who will be on hand for the external events.
Based in Leeds, this role is commutable from York, Harrogate, Wetherby, Bradford, Huddersfield and surrounding areas.
